Friday 50/50: Bookish Gift You'd Most/Least Like to Receive

50/50 Friday is a new weekly link up hosted by Carrie @ The Butterfly Reader and Laura @ Blue Eye Books.  Every week they have a new topic featuring two sides of the same coin - you share a book that suits each category and link up on the hosts' blogs.

No Friday 56/Book Beginning this weekend. Still reading the same books, and I don't want to share books I haven't started reading yet so I can share them when I do start reading them.

Most:

Any book on my Amazon wish list, book shelves, book marks. I'm not picky.

Least:

A book I already own. I wouldn't be "mad" if this happened, but I honestly don't see the point in owning multiple copies of the same book. I know a lot of book collectors do this, but I don't have enough shelf space to own more than one copy of a book. Unless I have eBook copies of a book and want to own a physical copy.

  1. Bookstore gift cards make great gifts. :-)

It is a bit disappointing when you receive a book you already own as a gift. I guess that's what makes me hard to shop for in the end (and why gift cards are a great idea).

I hope you have a great weekend!

  3. I agree, I don't see why some people have more than one copy of a book. It just takes up space on the bookshelf where another could sit.

    Thanks for linking up!
